Why do I need a website?
We live in a modern fast moving society, peoples expectations are far higher now than ever before. From the smallest corner shop to the largest corporate bodies, the general public (your customers) demand the highest standards of service and professionalism in all areas.
This sophisticated consumerism forces us as business people, and rightly so, to become more focussed and deliver a better offering to our customers. The internet has now become a huge source of information, and is often the first place that our customers now turn to when they need to locate a product or service quickly. In doing so they expect high standards of presentation and an informative website which imparts the information that they are looking for. Any business which does not have a website has already excluded itself from this huge opportunity, worse still a poor "DIY" website reflects badly on your Company and will turn customers away, driving them toward your competitors.
For retailers and those selling their wares, it has become an international shop window in which they can display and sell their goods online. For those who are in an 'offline' business it is another marketing tool in their arsenal with which they can stay ahead of the competition. And with the advent of modern 3G phones, many people literally have access to this resource in the palm of their hand!
Now, imagine having your own advertising space, which you control, available 24 hours a day 7 days a week which is accessible from anywhere in the world. In any other medium (magazines, newspapers, TV) the cost would be astronomical. Plus you get the added professionalism of your own email address in your company name which you can access from home or work.
